MIDO (International Exhibition of Optics, Optometry and Ophthalmology) is the world's leading trade fair in the optics and eyewear sector which has been held in Milan since 1970, the year in which a group of Italian entrepreneurs in the sector decided to create a trade fair dedicated to eyewear.
Today Mido is considered the most complete and fascinating event in the sector, expanding to also include fashion and design.
Every year in February, the three-day show presents innovative and attractive installations and stands that excite visitors flocking from all over Europe and the rest of the world to attend preview presentations of new trends and collections, new patents, and cutting-edge products and technologies.
